Steps to compare two columns in excel

Steps to compare two columns in excel
         This operation is useful to find the duplicate values present in two columns. You have list of items from two different sources, eg: need to compare present list of users with a pre-existing list. You may go with this approach... This is easy, fast and efficient.

Step 1: Comparing Fruit list 1 and Fruit list 2

Step 2: Select both the columns and Go to: Home> Conditional Formatting> Highlight Cells Rules > Duplicate Values and click on Duplicate Values

Step 3: On clicking Duplicate Values, the below box appear. Click ok.

Step 4: Final Result- The duplicate values in two columns are highlighted in red
